Message to no load. When in loaded condition, the cylinders are full of air/fuel and the engine is producing great amounts of torque compared to if you were in neutral and just stepped on the gas. The moment you remove the load, the engine will jump rpm quicker than if you started in neutral and just floored it. So it is possible for the engine to go past the rev limiter but not that much more cause the greater air fuel is only there for one cycle before fuel cut off.
